Salary Range:   V32, $81,377.00 - $122,065.00

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Business Administration, Finance, Health Management, Statistics or related field.  At least six (6) years of demonstrated progressive experience in central cancer registry management and operations (preferably academic medical center-based).  Must be a CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar).  Proven knowledge and utility of cancer surveillance collection as well as data management in conformance with national standards and cancer surveillance best practices. Research experience with SEER registries strongly preferred.  Outstanding human relations and leadership skills and ability to function in a team environment required.  Demonstrated knowledge is necessary of how to accomplish superior performance in a unionized environment.  Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities:
The Program Manager (Cancer Surveillance Operations), New Jersey Cancer Registry and Cancer Surveillance Program of The Cancer Institute (CINJ), part of the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, oversees all operational and programmatic aspects of data collection and quality assurance activities of the registry (ies).  This position will work closely with the Director of the Registry, CINJ leadership, investigators and external parties relating to this work.
